NAVI, also known as “Born to Win,” have advanced to the playoffs of the PGL Wallachia Season 2 tournament in Dota 2
NAVI secured a spot in the top 8 teams by winning three matches in the group stage, which is played in a Swiss format.
In the fourth round, NAVI defeated Alliance with a 2:1 score, a team that includes Ukrainian player Ivan “Kidaro” Bondarev. Earlier, NAVI had also beaten Team Waska (2:1) and MOUZ (2:0), but lost to HEROIC (1:2). To qualify for the playoffs, teams needed to secure three wins.
Interestingly, NAVI are competing in this tournament with three stand-ins: Puppey, BOOM, and bzm, which adds extra difficulty to their performance.
The playoffs will take place from October 10 to 13, and the prize pool of the tournament is $1 million.
