NAVI team lost to FURIA in the group stage match
At the Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024 Counter-Strike 2 tournament, the Ukrainian esports organization Natus Vincere (NAVI) lost to the Brazilian team FURIA Esports in the decisive match for first place in Group A. The match ended in defeat for NAVI with a score of 0:2 on maps (Nuke – 10 :13, Mirage – 4:13).
Before this, NAVI confidently beat the teams Imperial Esports (1:0) and Team Liquid (2:1), which allowed them to take second place in the group. Now NAVI will have to play in the quarterfinals against the winner of the Virtus.pro – The MongolZ match.
In turn, FURIA, having taken first place in the group, directly qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament.
The IEM Rio 2024 tournament takes place from October 7 to 13 in Brazil, and its prize fund is $250 thousand.
