New Patch 7.36 for Dota 2

The Dota 2 update 7.36 introduces several significant changes, focusing on two new mechanics: innate abilities and Hero Facets.

Innate abilities are unique abilities that each hero starts with. These abilities can either provide special effects or allow certain hero abilities to reach five levels. For example, Weaver’s Geminate Attack now has five levels and starts at level one.

Hero facets offer additional customization for heroes, similar to talent trees. Players choose a Facet during strategy time, which cannot be changed during the match. These facets provide various buffs or ability alterations. For instance, Luna can choose between “Lunar Orbit,” which provides damage reduction, or “Moonstorm,” which enhances Lucent Beam.

Glyph of fortification now refreshes when the first Melee Barracks is destroyed instead of the first Tier 3 tower.
Hero Denies grant experience to the hero who created the deniable debuff.
Persistent Range Indicators and Dynamic Health Bar Focus are new features in Dota Labs.

Item changes
Significant reworks have been made to items like Sange, Yasha, and Kaya. For example, Sange now provides +20% Slow Resistance instead of Status Resistance.

Notable hero changes
Every hero has been updated with both a Facet and an Innate ability. For example, Ancient Apparition’s abilities now apply Death Rime stacks that deal damage and slow enemies.
